Autumn 2025 Updates: What's New in Rockety?
Welcome to our Autumn 2025 updates! We’re excited to share the latest features and improvements we’ve made to Rockety, designed to enhance your project management experience. Here’s what’s new:
The API is out of closed beta!
We’re excited to announce that the Rockety API is now out of closed beta and available for all users! The API allows you to programmatically interact with Rockety, enabling you to automate tasks, integrate with other tools, and build custom solutions tailored to your workflow.
It's still early days for the API, but we're committed to expanding its capabilities and adding more endpoints in the future. You can find the API documentation here.
Channel Notifications let you get notified in Slack when tasks are created, updated or completed, and more
Channel Notifications in Rockety let you send messages to a Slack channel whenever tasks are created, updated or completed. This helps keep your team informed about project progress and ensures everyone is on the same page.
This also works when tasks are created from the public Task Form, or sent in via email using Email-to-Task, even when the task is created by a client or external user, so you can keep your team informed about new tasks from any source.

Subtasks are finally here!
You can now create subtasks within tasks to help break down larger tasks into smaller, more manageable pieces. Subtasks can be assigned to different team members, have their own due dates, and be tracked separately from the parent task.
This new feature helps improve task organization and ensures that all aspects of a task are accounted for. You can create subtasks by opening a task and clicking on the "Add Subtask" button.
Acceptance Criteria for tasks
You can now define Acceptance Criteria for tasks to clearly outline the conditions that must be met for a task to be considered complete. This helps ensure that everyone on the team understands the requirements and expectations for each task.

We've got more exciting features and improvements in the pipeline, so stay tuned for more updates in the coming months. As always, we appreciate your feedback and suggestions, so please don't hesitate to reach out to us with any ideas or comments.
